0009 - Day 12

Here is the Neolithic ditch, with an interesting sequence of natural thin deposits. Above them there were deposits with lots of stones and archaeological material. But deposits with a lot of pottery and faunal remains started to appear again. These deposits present always an inclination from E to W, from the outside to the inside of the enclosure. This is another interesting case study for the problems of ditch inside sedimentation.

Here, in the Chalcolithic area, we can see the deposit of accumulation of fragmented human burned bones, over a stone structure. From this deposit, mixed with the human bones, several arrow heads, and ivory idols were collected.

Again in the Neolithic side, the semicircular small ditch connected to the large one opens to West, connecting to a underground structure (hypogeum type?).

And the team (two members missing) of the first two weeks.
